Well, here’s a old picture that I blogged of life.

Well, here’s a old picture that I blogged of life.

For some reason (that you shall not know about), I am cutting down on my personal posts! And also, I did something very stupid today. I accidentlly formated my memory stick on my camera deleting all photos from yesterday and today.
However, we did cover the spring concert:
So now I am back from Spring Concert day 1 and this post will summarize what we did wrong and right, what we thought we should do and what exactly happened.
After setting everything up in the Auditorium, we closed down two rows of chairs for concert audio recording purposes. However, we failed to manage the the row behind us meaning that people can sit and talk behind us. And people did. My friends, to be percise, Everything and FoM, they talked and talked and their conversation got recorded. Finally, after they are gone, more people wanted to sit beside us and there were even girls who wanted to sit between the tripods in the closed rows where our power plugs are located. We should have printed some signs saying “Row closed for recording”. Anyhow, the concert wasn’t pretty bad, even though there were minor mistakes made by the performers.
We did interviews at intermission, random people in the hallway kicked Kevin’s tripod shaking the whole scene. I interviewed Mr. Fleming at intermission, and Mr. Taylor after the concert. Please bare with me because I am not a good reporter/interviewer. Remember that I said the audio recording was messed up? Well, we always have a backup, and this time is to use the concert sound crew recording, meaning no talking from my friends. If there were this concert sound recording, those people behind are really in trouble.
The video will be coming within the next week and will be in widescreen (16:9). We’ll be providing song by song versions as usual and a full version. Why the long wait? Because we need to edit this and this usually takes a long time (really long).
Estimated size of video
Full: 1GB/ea
Song by song: 50MB/ea
At last, I want to thank our Camera Crew, Kevin, Leo, and Gibson for doing this. Good job guys.
I am beginning to blog more on the personal side. Anyway, today, I feel behind. Read more to find out. Duh!
Before school even started, I had a meeting with the principle about PG Forum. In the morning, I had English, which taught me nothing. So on to the second block. Ah, social studies, always fun. Leo and Rang was fighting first in social studies and it looks like this.

Mr. Mey gave back all the tests and said me and Wei got the second in the class. Well, Wei started ‘laughing’ at Nancy for not making the first. However, later we learned that she got the second and we got the third. After Mr. Mey assigned all the work, we went on chatting. Apparently, Rang had a orange that he wanted to eat.

And Wei drew on it (the outer surface). However, in the end, we ate it. Let’s hope we don’t get any highlighter chemicals into out body. I confirmed that more and more people are taking completion course this summer. Confirmed Rang, Nancy, and Wei is taking Math 10. Now, I feel behind. It seems like honor (or enriched) courses are not enough any more, the new goal is try to finish one grade in summer time; but shouldn’t you rest in summer?? Anyhow, we also learned that Nancy is going to Church hill secondary next year. Well, good luck in your upcoming year/future year!

Guess who this is.
Wei and Nancy started arguing as usual. Nancy told me to start a group in facebook dedicated to ‘killing’ Wei (hey, that’s the best way I can put it). Science wasn’t much fun, same old same old. And in IT, Alice drew more on my binder. And Natalie thanked me for helping with her 3d project.

Nice drawing. Pssst: I have to say that because they know my blog now. Natalie too.
Anyhow, I had to writing a ‘legal’ letter after I came home so after that, here I am, blogging.
Today started off like this. I barely had anything to do other than relaxing in the first block. (below, teacher+student from my first block)

I read few pages of my book and when the class was over, I met Tracie (you look very nice today). I also met Leo, who was also pretty cool today. Art in the second block wasn’t much different. For the most part, we fool around…

Then math. And at last PE. After school, I saw Tracie again. *surprise. /gorgeous/… and I also met Gibson, and Leo, and Rang. I tried to persuade to Gibson to come and help out in the afterschool vidcast but he refuses. Blah, blah, blah, we shot two episodes of filmtography – the vidcast, and finished one episode of your science guy podcast with Rang and released it on both the pocasting network site and the studio site.

I promised I’ll post these images (read yesterday’s post), and so here you go. Some contents are blurred out.

I guess I have to thank Alice for amazing drawing. And I forgot to thank Natalie for borrowing me her iPod!
I am not going to tag anyone in this post, or else, I will get a lot of emails.
From the first block in the morning, I had nothing to do. Mrs. Rolf gave us a quiz that we already took. *surprise! She forgets things. Anyhow, first block isn’t really that important, so why don’t we jump onto the second block when Rang and Wei battled? It started out with them two drawing on each other’s shirt with chalk. We all laughed. Wei took revenge when Rang left and drew on Rang’s backpack. We kept quiet about the chalk marks on his backpack. Rang asked Nancy, hoping to get some answers. Nancy did want to help so she kicked Rang’s backpack 2 times. Rang backed off because he hadn’t understood the meaning of his backpack being kicked. It was later when he found out and revenged by drawing on Wei’s backpack (seriously, those two were bored). Second half of the second block (SS). They were quiet. Except, Wei went back arguing with Nancy. Wei told Rang to stare at Nancy for 10 second and she will laugh. The reality was quite opposite…

Guess who this is… Photo by Rang
Enough of Social Studies. Besides, Nancy thinks that I write these posts on Facebook. (I don’t, they get imported from my actual blog). So at lunch time, I finished my lunch and went to the Library, saw Natalie and Mandy at the computer and didn’t bother to look anywhere else. I had to explain Denny something about forum because he asked me to create a forum for him. Anyhow, when Rang and Leo got in, they saw a lot of people, including Yolanda, and Tracie. I went onto studying Science because there was a Science Quiz. After leaving the library, Rang was telling me that – .-. .- -.-. .. . was sitting behind me all the time and I didn’t realize that all the time. Um… sad? I had Science next, noting to report there except the usual Young. IT was quite different, we had to go to the library because there were Japanese students writing exams in IT room. So we headed for the library. I had nothing to do because I don’t write web stories, I already finish coding the template for my ‘team’, therefore, I fool around. Look around, and chat with other groups. Alice Lin took my binder and my ‘magic’ marker and was drawing on it. (I’ll be probably posting the image tomorrow or so because I need to do some editing) Anyway, the drawing was great… really great. A lot of other crap happened, like PG Forum got banned from school, and I took weird photographs of Leo. I don’t have anytime to write now. It’s 22:54 meaning I have to go to bed. Well, I can always add more tomorrow to this ‘exciting’ (as Gibson calls it) day!
Preview of Alice’s Amazing drawing skills

Today in English, we went to the library to have a special presentation about how to use the library – not much use to me. Second block, I had Social Studies, Wei and Nancy were arguing over something (I couldn’t remember how it even got started). But I think they are really mad, well, for sure Wei is mad. And Rang (or was it Nancy?) kept on bring up this math camp thing up, and there, again, somehow, the conversation changed to Rang’s wedding… with Tiffany. “Why did Tiffany tell everyone.” Rang said, confirming their wedding, and Wei added that they will be having it on July 1st, Canada Day for some reason. Rang was quite mad and started attacking us with his special skill. Too bad we couldn’t go outside and play during class again. Anyway, we got all our work done in social studies and grabbed the next day’s work. Lunch didn’t seem different excepting seeing male teachers dressed up as females, eg. Mr. Young, and Mr. Duey. Science in the third block = usual stuff. No homework, just review for final + quiz. In IT, we were divided into groups, so I opted out automatically from writing the web story. I told my team that I’ll code the template (since I do that almost everyday). Coming back from school, I had to organize the Multicultural Night photos (yes, there were weird shots of people on stage and people off stage). I uploaded it and posted it on PG Forum. (by the way, I was joking about Rang’s wedding) Tonight, there’s a final dance of the year. However, I ain’t going (just from the stats when Mr. Mey asked our SS class who’s going to the dance, nobody put their hands up, so I assume most people going will be higher grades). And I am now writing this at night. This will be imported into my facebook’s note, but I can’t tag Wei and Rang because they don’t have a facebook account (sad).
Yesterday
Nothing happened in the first block. Second block, we were basically set free to go outside and play in a social studies class. Wei, Nancy, and Irene were working on their homework (usual for Nancy and Irene, not usual for Wei). Mr. Mey told us to work outside, however, me and Rang finished studying a science test so we went out and played, stoled Leo’s bike and ride it, saw random people taking photographs, and watched PE people playing on the field. I wish every class was like that. In the last block, I had IT, and we were to write up a story (at least 300 words). Shouldn’t we be doing something other than English in IT? Anyhow, I wrote about a guy called Steve Gates, and you know, the usual stuff… After school wasn’t much fun. I went home with a green paper that I bought for fun from the dollar store hoping that I can get some sort of green screen material. Then there was the multicultural concert (day 1). I wish that they are giving me my long behold dslr, unfortunately, it’s still out of stock. Nothing much to say there except it was a good show. You can read more on Leo’s blog about the multicultural concert.
Today
I had a field trip for the first half of the day to Granville Island, and I have nothing to write about it. When I came back to school, it was already 12:20 so I had to pick up my math stuff and run to my class. Luckily, Mr. Brion is late so I didn’t have to worry. Let’s fast forward to after school since the afternoon class are same the stuff. I decided to finish my SS homework because I was outside during class (read Yesterday). But before I do anything, I checked my mail and saw usual stuff. New registrations on PG Forum. Microsoft Newsletter, and some other letters. I had to check my blog to moderate some comments and I saw a new release for Wordpress, so I had to download the 2.2 version and upgrade everyone’s blog. By the time I was finished the email, it was already 5pm, so I hurried up with my SS homework because there’s a multicultural concert day 2! When I arrived at the small gym for the concert, I saw friends, more people than day 1. Too bad the show on day 2 was worst than day 1 and the intermission was longer than the actual performance. Gibson was there again, capturing the performances. At the end, everyone enjoyed it (the food probably). After the concert, Leo was bothering Jane, and now back at home typing this blog post.
So there was a track meet yesterday, actually it was the final. I couldn’t ’skip’ the first two blocks because they were important so I went at 11am with Everything (Geoffrey). Later, we found ourselves in a traffic jam on No.3 rd. to Richmond. We arrived at 12:00, and we have to get through the mall. Geoffrey said he had to go to the washroom so we looked for it. We saw those boards point to the washroom, however, they all point in on direction leading us back to where we started. Looking for washroom wasted 15 mins of our time so we were late to the meet. Even if we got into the 4×100 final, out team were there. Nick said that he wasn’t coming and Johnathan arrived later at 12:30. We missed the 4×100 girl relay, but caught the boy’s. When we arrived to the bleachers, the girls left. /*suprise*/ The boy 4×100 team started off slow, however, ended up first. /*surprise again*/ After seeing wei getting first, me and Geoffrey decided to get some lunch in Richmond Center, and we brought wei some since he had to stay at the track(for no clear reason). We ate some random food and Johnathan messed up my drink. I came back, with hope that – …. . / –. .. .-. .-.. … / .– — ..- .-.. -.. / -… . / – …. . .-. . They were not there, so I stayed a little bit longer, and decided to go back since there’s no point in being there. After getting back, I have to record a episode of filmtography with Kevin and Gibson. Tiring and sad day? Maybe.
It has been a long time since I have been to a track meet (last one was in grade 7). So I ran horribly, because I was too cold (didn’t warm up properly) and my body froze when running the 1500m (which I went for warming up). However, that run didn’t warm me up at all. Anyway, I am not a long distance runner (even though I ran 7.5 laps before) and the irony is that I am actually in short distance and running for the 1500m! Oh, yes, there were no PG score keepers to time the runners so we ran without knowing our time.
Before the track meets ends, we took bus while the other people (girls mostly, the guys disappeared) were driven by their parents. And we saw the Not In Service sign on the bus over and over again.
Since this is only the first time (next meet is on Wed next week), I shall make a list of what I am going to bring that I didn’t bring this time.
