It’s really funny! Of course, you’ll only get it if you know Linux.
Shadowz: Ask HN is awesome. My question being answered in great details. Another reason to <3 HN. http://is.gd/abmhL — 5:37am

Maybe it’s time for me to go back and have a look at linux again.

If you haven’t read my other post about Microsoft copying the Ubuntu logo, go read it. Because I’ve recently discovered that their website reads:
“Microsoft is a registered trademark of Microsoft Corporation in the United States and or other countries. Microsoft Alumni Network is not affiliated with Microsoft Corporation.”
Notice that they say Microsoft Alumni Network is not affiliated with Microsoft Corporation, then why they even bother to put Microsoft in their name? To confuse people that Microsoft ’stole’ the logo?
Even a user on digg posted that the universal binary logo:

is much like what Microsoft copied:

We know that sometimes Microsoft copies things (logos), and even though Microsoft Alumni Network is not affiliated with Microsoft Corporation, people tend to think it’s Microsoft’s fault. It’s not. And don’t get me started talking about Microsoft. At last, -no, this blog is not affiliated with Microsoft Corporation, and I am still planning to switch to a Mac.

Go to the website yourself and judge for yourself.
“Dell cannot be responsible for pricing or other errors, and reserves the right to cancel orders arising from such errors.”
That makes people not want to get Ubuntu… Well, it’s for all the geeks like us.

As I have predicted (or the from the news), Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn) is out today. Of course, the Studio version is not out yet but I predict once again that it will be out by the end of April.

Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn) can be downloaded here

Ubuntu Studio, a multimedia creation derivative of Ubuntu aimed at the linux audio, video and graphic enthusiast as well as professional was aimed to launch on April 19th which is tomorrow but we’ve just gotten the word that it’s not. They have moved the date to the end of April. However, I believe that Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn is coming out some time around tomorrow and then the studio will soon follow that. I’ll post more update as we get close to the release date of Ubuntu Studio.
For anyone that is interested, here are some hi resolution screen shots.
