For some reason (that you shall not know about), I am cutting down on my personal posts! And also, I did something very stupid today. I accidentlly formated my memory stick on my camera deleting all photos from yesterday and today.
However, we did cover the spring concert:
So now I am back from Spring Concert day 1 and this post will summarize what we did wrong and right, what we thought we should do and what exactly happened.
After setting everything up in the Auditorium, we closed down two rows of chairs for concert audio recording purposes. However, we failed to manage the the row behind us meaning that people can sit and talk behind us. And people did. My friends, to be percise, Everything and FoM, they talked and talked and their conversation got recorded. Finally, after they are gone, more people wanted to sit beside us and there were even girls who wanted to sit between the tripods in the closed rows where our power plugs are located. We should have printed some signs saying “Row closed for recording”. Anyhow, the concert wasn’t pretty bad, even though there were minor mistakes made by the performers.
We did interviews at intermission, random people in the hallway kicked Kevin’s tripod shaking the whole scene. I interviewed Mr. Fleming at intermission, and Mr. Taylor after the concert. Please bare with me because I am not a good reporter/interviewer. Remember that I said the audio recording was messed up? Well, we always have a backup, and this time is to use the concert sound crew recording, meaning no talking from my friends. If there were this concert sound recording, those people behind are really in trouble.
The video will be coming within the next week and will be in widescreen (16:9). We’ll be providing song by song versions as usual and a full version. Why the long wait? Because we need to edit this and this usually takes a long time (really long).
Estimated size of video
Full: 1GB/ea
Song by song: 50MB/ea
At last, I want to thank our Camera Crew, Kevin, Leo, and Gibson for doing this. Good job guys.
