Google has acquired DoubleClick

Google has acquired DoubleClick for $3.1 billion, the huge online ads displaying company. Microsoft was in this bidding war against Google and Google finally got the company, and most importantly, its customers and users. The NewYork Times reported that DoubleClick’s yearly revenue is around $300 million. Google sure is going the advertising way with their adsense and now this.
