iGoogle?

Yes, iGoogle, the ’successor’ of Google IG or Google personalized homepage. Located on the web at igoogle.com, the new personalized homepage now offers backgrounds provided by google. I know the google.com/ig already got this a long time ago, however, goog.ca/ig, the Canadian version, just got this background on. One of the weird thing is that Google never promoted massively about this iGoogle. Wait, isn’t iSomething, such as iCal, iPhone, iPod, used after the Mac apps??

Defaced a Microsoft’s web page

http://ieak.microsoft.com/1.0/newlicensee.asp

Someone called “Cyb3rT” has defaced a Microsoft’s web page – not the main one, but anyway. If you’re fast you’ll see it. In case it’s fixed, a capture can be found at http://noscript.net/images/ms-ieak-defaced.jpg. Not good news for the company that claims to be the first software company of the world.

The Beyond! Lab Proxy

I guess I was bored again. Done with ubuntu for the day so I went on to make a site. Well, not really. It’s the Beyond! Lab Proxy. Hey, it’s not my idea to brand everything, it’s because I am too tired to give it a name. Beyond! Lab Proxy is a Anonymous Proxy Site you can use to browse blocked websites from school, work, the library, or any other firewall protected place. Just don’t get us blocked. Of course, it’s hosted under the lab.beyond-innovation which means it’s in beta and testing.

The real mouse

So I was busy. With my podcasts, forum, people, homework, websites, and of course, ubuntu. I was able to get Ubuntu on my other machine yesterday, so I sat down for a few hours and played with it which turned out to be the whole night again. Anyway, here’s today’s post:

Again, another short post. I have to go back to playing with Ubuntu now…

Who’s digging you?

Yes, I know that I didn’t post anything yesterday. However, I have a good excuse, and that is… I was playing with Ubuntu Feisty Fawn all night yesterday! Not being able to get much work done at all. So I am back to ‘normal’ now…

Who’s digging you

301 Useless Facts

While I was digging today, I found this interesting article – 301 useless facts!

http://www.singlegrain.com/blog/301-useless-facts/

Just the first 3

“1. Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) was born on and died on days when Halley’s Comet can be seen. During his life he predicted that he would die when it could be seen.

2. US Dollar bills are made out of cotton and linen.

3. The “57″ on the Heinz ketchup bottle represents the number of pickle types the company once had.”

Google vs. God

Google can’t satisfy every search

Ah! No wonder I can’t find answers to exams [replace answers to exams with anything you want here]!
